My best holidays ever

This time I’ll talk to you about my best holydays ever. It was about six years ago, I went to Valdivia with my mom and sisters on summer vacations. From Talca to Valdivia there are nine to ten hours, give or take, so we decided to travel at night so we could seize the day. We stayed in a room with two beds so we had to slept together but there were just five nights so it wasn’t a big sacrifice hahaha.  We did a lot of things, I’d say pretty much everything we could do there. We took long walks by the side of the Valdivia river and continued throw the sort of “Y” formed with the Calle Calle river. 

We took a tour on a catamaran and sailed all the way throw the “Y” and took A LOT of pictures, I remember that the captain even let me “take the wheel” (just for the picture, he was there the whole time) we still laugh a lot about that. We went to some very old houses with an amazing architecture and to Universidad Austral, there were a lot of animals running around. 

We also went to see Los Bosques Valdivianos, the trees there were OLD, and I mean REALLY OLD! And absolutely gorgeous. I remember that in one our walks by the side of the river my mom found $5.000 CLP bill in the street, so we picked it up and had some hot dogs that night hahaha we still laugh about that too, because in front of us were a couple coming and my mom kind of run to take it, it was so funny we couldn’t stop laughing.

I thought about this trip first because I had a really fun time with my family and I kinda really needed it because it was a few years after my parents divorced and we needed to have time a good time together just the four of us.
